Base: black tea from the province of Misiones. This blend aims to capture the aromas and
flavors of the entire Argentine territory — just as the Austral Negrito crosses it during its
migrations.
Additions:
Coarsely ground mate – adds a light bitterness at the beginning Fruits (mango from northern Argentina, pear from Cuyo and Patagonia) – contribute a soft sweetness
Pollen – reflecting the bird’s link to the diverse southern flora, we included pollen as a symbol of plant life’s origin, giving the blend a wild character with a gentle bitterness and earthy aromatic notes
Elderflower (typical of Patagonia) and chamomile (cultivated on the Argentine littoral for over 100 years) – add bright floral notes, sweetness, and brightness to the infusion
Carob bark – unifies the blend and enriches it with vitamins A, B, C, calcium, iron, and magnesium
Profile: a bold and fruity blend, nourishing and invigorating, with base notes of toastiness
and earth, and a touch of sweetness. A perfect energizing drink to start the day.
Preparation method
Austral negrito: 90°C 4′
It is recommended to follow the infusion time and temperature precisely, and to serve the drink without the leaves to avoid over-steeping and ensure consistent results.
